Smart Square has the ability to receive all Cost Center information via the HRIS feed (both active and inactive). Smart Square allows the manual creation of Cost Centers even if the same Cost Center number exists. When this happens, certain reports and dashboards have the potential to display skewed data. To prevent this in the future and to force data integrity, any attempt to create a duplicate Cost Center will result in a warning message “Cost Center number must be unique”. Any changes made will not be saved and you will be returned back to the Cost Center configuration for modification.
The following table lists all Improvements, Updates, and Fixes to be included with this release. Some of the items listed may not impact your Smart Square environment and require no action from you. However, we encourage you to log into the Training environment to review each item. For details regarding items listed, please contact your Smart Square Support Representative.
This functionality will be released to the TRAIN environment on Wednesday, May 18, 2016 and then to Production on Wednesday, May 25, 2016. Please log into your Training environment to familiarize yourself with the functionality and report any unexpected results or questions to your Smart Square Support Representative. For this release, communication is not required for end-users.
